Chelsea bending us over the table

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10885520/Arsenal-could-miss-out-on-Cesc-Fabregas-payment-in-Chelsea-transfer-deal-with-Barcelona.html

Hahahaha actually laughed reading this. The audacity of Mourinho and co. He hates us so much that he doesn't want us to get a sell on fee for a player we are stepping back and letting them have.

I'll tell you what, they more than likely will get their way, because that's just the way it is with Arsenal. Didn't pursue a clause we had activated last Summer just to keep Liverpool happy and now we are going to let our good mates at Stamford Bridge have their way again.

Arsene, you know what you should do? MAN THE FK UP AND BRING CESC BACK. Any other club in the world would do exactly the same and Chelsea are almost taunting us with their latest ploy.

The only reason why some of you are losing your heads over this, is because Chelsea are the ones in for Fabregas. Your emotional attachment to Fabregas is affecting your judgement.

------

This above post is very important too many of you are hung up on the fact that it's Cesc, the affinity is understandable but Cesc Fabregas is not the greatest player ever (sometimes it comes across like many think he is).

Arsenal have more pressing concerns and I have to think that say Cesc went to Chelsea but a few weeks later you signed Benzema or a player of that ilk Cesc would soon be forgotten.

I'm not having a pop but Arsenal fans, more then any other clubs fans on here, really get irate during the transfer window. As a club you do seem to be slow when conducting transfers (wenger going to commentate on the WC will only add to this anger) but every summer there is anarchy on the Arsenal board over transfers.

It's justified at time of course especially as you do seem to leave it so late but it's early doors yet and sure Chlesea have not even signed Cesc yet (or Costa!) really only a few small moves have been made by clubs in the transfer market and no big signings have been made.

If Wenger does not sign the required players this article mentions by the end of the transfer window then fair enough he deserves the criticism but until then for you own mental state you should try to put this Cesc thing out of your minds, I guess come Thursday we will all be wrapped up in the WC and things will be quieter on the transfer front.

No point in having strength in depth in midfield and then having to go into the season very weak in defence and attack.

So if you understand you right that means we havent extra money to do it all?

Fabregas would bring us depths not alone in midfield btw because he can also play elsewhere.

I cant believe no matter what we miss this opportunity.

So if Barca set the fee lower than the sell on figure, makes it Chelsea's doing?

It shows how much Cesc's stock has fallen and how desperate Barca, his DNA club, want rid.

If you read it Arsenal will lose out on £1m or thereabouts. Not worth crying over.
