Hard to judge this one, I dont know a great deal about Italy. Man for man, whos stronger, whos got the best first 11 and how many italians would get into England's team; how many of England team get into italys?
Heard of balotelli, aqualini, buffon, chiellini, pirlo and de rossi...but for instance, we have seen aqua man and balotelli in the prem; didnt pull up to many trees for me! Is the studge in better form, can gerrard do better than pirlo?
Has anyone ACTUALLY watched the italians? Fancy names...but, are they being overhyped?

He should have won player of the tournament, in my opinion. He was better than Iniesta.

Gerrard is a beast. He dragged liverpool from nowhere to win the champions league.
He and Pirlo are different players though and Pirlo is better as a deep playmaker. I don't understand the rubbishing of Gerrard though. He has been an immense player over the years and has scored some crackers. He is box to box but has adapted well this season. He isn't better in that role than Pirlo but he certainly isn't an inferior player. GB is right that Pirlo can't do alot of what Gerrard has done time and again.

Gerrard is my number 1 midfielder without a doubt. No other midfielder in the world has impressed me more then him. I hope he has a better tournament than rhis past season.

Gerrard is awesome....he has better assists and goals than pirlo the past season. We shouldnt worry about italy they should worry about us.
