--------------Hart
Walker Jones Cahill Shaw
------Rooney Wilshere
--Ox --- Barkley --- Sterling
------------Sturridge
I think Rooney will end up playing in the middle. Behind the striker for England he is terrible, his touch is appalling. But he has great talent and his passing is brilliant, could be great for him to dictate the play.
Hart can be world class, walker is still very young and just had a season where he was back to his best before injur, jones will be brilliant one day, already far better than smalling, Cahill is a champions league winner and is a good experienced head, shaw should be lb for years to come.
Wilshere will hopefully be good one day.
The Ox, Barkley and sterling on the counter is frightening.
Sturridge is questionable but does score goals at club level.
Future for England? Or how about now?

Good career choices over the next two transfer windows could see Caulker join that list IMO. He's currently a regular starter and should keep this in mind should he leave Swansea.

Eh? Check your facts Sir.

Considering he plays for Cardiff, I think he should have much more on his mind if he's leaving Swansea.

There was an article in the press that compared the choices that Yaya Toure and Rodwell made at the same stage in their careers. Toure turned down Arsenal's bench and built a solid CV across a number of leagues. Rodwell chose the money at City where the stiff competition for places means that his inconvenient injury problems make him a mere quota player. Sadly, quite a number of the promising players in your lineup will end up suffering a similar fate.

Possibly but that's what happens when you're predicting five years in the future, many things could happen.

No he is not. I have no idea where this myth comes from, but as someone who watches them week in week out, I can tell you that Smalling is a superior CB. Most United fans would tell you the same too.

So his touch wouldn't matter having to play (and hence receive) the ball more times than anyone else in the team? Also, it's not just about passing, dictating the play is all about knowing how to read the game in terms of when to speed it up, slow it down, take risks, etc. Anything to suggest Rooney's capable of all that?
