Morning my fellow Reds...
How is everyone on this bright & sunny morning.. (apart from that dumb bum m-clucker Ed Woodward) just incase he's reading this....
Watching the Holland game last night I was think if Moyes was still in charge there would of been a good chance RVP would of been of this summer hence the interest in Cavani i think..
How cheesed would everyone feel loosing a player of that quality because him and the manager didnt see eye to eye..
Also do u think he was actually injured for most of last season or was he sulking because of the manager.. I can see with LVG in charge RVP would be willing to play if he had niggles...
RVP & Moyes

Scholay
man to man
Your opening gambit on the thread was juvenile and stupid
It didn't set you in the right light for a decent debate on the subject
Next time, don't join a thread by spouting silly drivel and you may get taken more seriously
I'll say again, as forwards in my opinion, there is very little in it
Rooney is more versatile
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My aim is not to be taken seriously by you two, we all know how you are if people are not beating to the tune of your drum. Man to man.....
RVP is way better than Rooney.

What did i try to do to you with Shearer, i thought the claim was ridiculous
-------------------
What is so ridiculous about Shearer having a claim to be the PL's greatest ever striker?
....................
God only knows.
He is way up there wityh the very best.

Because I can easily name 5 strikers who are better and more influential than him during their time in the prem. The guy played when the prem was more than 40 games a season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The number of games is irrelvent to how good a striker Shearer was
As a number 9, he was lethal
I would guess Shearer's goals to game ratio wasn't as good as say Henry but Shearer spent his career at Southampton Blackburn and Newcastle
Rooney is closing in on Sir Bobby Charton's United record but he is still a country mile away from Shearer's PL record
