It's neither bright or sunny where I am
If you look at his stats last season they weren't actually that bad. In fact they were decent. 18 in 28 games. However it was clear he wasn't happy. Under LVG he looks a different player and we could have a truly world class player back on our hands next season. Very few better strikers in world football
The worse thing is my office is based on the side where the sun doesnt show.. So i miss the beep beep beep sun all day unless i go for a walk at lunch time.. On top of that ive quit smoking so no more excuses to pop out for a quick 5 mins..arrrrrggggghhhhhhhhh
Python I would personally go far as saying I would prefer him in the team over rooney... I really believe the best thing for united is to sell rooney... Really cant see them to playing together.. But for as much as i love RVP will always say what rooney does for the team is priceless...
RVP is twice the player Rooney is. I'd have RVP any day of the week. Mind you I have never been rooneys biggest fan
Something I hate is a player taking a fecking huff and not wanting to play for a certain manager
You don't play for the manager you play for the club that pays you a fecking fortune, wipe your mouth you lazy Barsteward and get over yourself, if RVP was downing tools last year because of some real or imagined beef between him and Moyes het can fecking do one
Fecking huffy pampered prima donnal players, get to feck
Bloody ell
Woken up on the wrong side of bed this morning?
Someone else being smash your missus?
You're Scottish?
All things that would make you angry I suppose
Anyone who watched United live last year could surely see that it wasn't a case of RVP 'downing tools'.
We had so little possession in the final third - it felt that RVP would have less than ten touches of the ball in a game.
Our tactics didn't play to any of our forward player's strengths, and I think that was the key reason why RVP looked out of sorts.

Mrs charlie is frae Govan and a Jags lassie - the tv remote would be missing for the next few weeks if I came out with a statement like that !
Python, aye that is all it is
Being Scottish gives you a sunny disposition and if I am the only one who gets fecked off at football players spitting the dummy (if RVP did do that) then fair enough but the pash me off and will continue to do so
Rooney did it, twice and I will never think of him the same way again, Suarez, tevez, Ballotelli, they can all get to feck
Oh and anyone smashing the missus would be doing me a favour, world cup on and I have a bad back from sitting on the couch for approx 10 days solid now
"You don't play for the manager you play for the club that pays you a fecking fortune"
Would you say the same if your workplace brought in an incompetent, out of his depth manager to look over you>?
Insufferable
RVP hardly threw his toys out the pram on the pitch. In fact he performed in the united shirt. Like I said before 18 in 28 was decent. It was off the pitch he reportedly wasn't happy with moyes training methods, style etc etc.
bit different from Rooney, tevez, Suarez etc
Piffle I agree 100%. It's not due to lack of possession and service, you could see it in his face and his demeanour - he was sulking.

Manc, you could see it in his face and his movement. He wasn't fired up angry like a Rooney, Suarez or Tevez would be - he was just sulky.
Yes but his goal scoring record was still decent. I agree he didn't look as fired up as the season before under fergie.
His last 2 games for Holland told me all I wanted to know, I do not say that Moyes was not part of the problem, that much was apparent but my main moan is that players who to us are living a fecking dream and earning cash we never will are mooching about like a 14yr old who's dad has refused to buy them an ocerpriced One Direction gig ticket

His record was 'decent' but if he had put a bit more graft in it would have been 'good' to 'very good'.
You see his face in the Dutch squad and compare that to his face in a Utd shirt last season and you will see what I mean.
Piffle - absolutely and I said as much at the time. Forget your differences and get on with your job - you're being paid hundreds of thousands a week, the least you can do is show a bit of desire.

......................
He isn't actually. There is very little what so ever in their goal scoring or assist stats.
For every superb technical goal RVP has scored, I can match it with one Wazza has scored.
RVP was injured. It was still clearly on his mind in the games he did play too.
When a particular injury has plagued your career, it stands to reason it can still affect you psychologically after recovering from a re-occurence of it. And remember, he did play with it strapped up to
I'm sure Anderson is another player who is affected in the same way.
I think the is an exaggeration when it comes to Moyes fallout with players. Any that have spoken so far have said how hard he tried and how professional he went about the job, despite ultimately failing
RVP did look disinterested at time last season but I don't think any of that was down to Moyes personally. He's too professional for that
Hopefully his injury won't reoccur next season but even if it does, thankfully we have a player 2 years younger than him that is every bit as good

Not so sure on that Macca. I have seen RVP have a strop with managers before. and it is common practioce among the Dutch to throw their teddy's out the pram, over managers.

I would actually question if some of these people really are United fans.
They certainly don't watch football and understand it.
VC
True but it isn't like Moyes was misusing RVP or dropping him or anything
He was still first choice in his favoured position so I would personally be surprised if Moyes had anything to do with his demeanor
Fergie retiring possibly had an effect though
I still think the recurrence of his old Arsenal injury was the biggest factor personally

I think it's simply that many believe he's the Rooney created by the media
They should stop listening to red tops and remember what he's done on the pitch
United's third highest goal scorer of all time, more than half of which coming in the last 5 seasons, and he is still berated by some from the rooftops
It's something I will never understand
