Louis van Gaal Adds Albert Stuivenberg to His United Coaching Staff
Stuivenberg recently finished as the coach of the Netherlands Under-21 team. In 2011 and 2012, he led the Dutch Under-17 team to their triumphs in the UEFA European Championships.
He starts work immediately, working with assistant manager Ryan Giggs, while new manager Louis van Gaal will join up with the squad after the World Cup.
Van Gaal has already appointed Frans Hoek as goalkeeping coach to replace Chris Woods and Marcel Bout, who has previously worked at Bayern Munich and several clubs in Holland, has been appointed as assistant coach.

If we're going on recent interviews (and his own blog) Scholes seems to pushing himself out of the door.
Which I'm in favour of.

Why not? Scholes can teach any player a thing or ten. Butt has done good work with the youth team.

I'm open to the idea of Scholes as a coach but it should be based on ability, not sentiment. I reckon Scholes coukd do a job as a coach though. He's level headed ans could offer some very good advice to any CM on how to play the game

I like Schiles he's honest, which you need from a coach. He knows the values held at OT, he is a club legend and should be the perfect role model for any young footballer.
I think he should be a part of the youth setup as opposed to the first team, that's where I see him having the biggest impact.

Personally, if I was van Gaal I'd tell everyone to do one.
The coaches that were brought in were a joke from Moyes, but the biggest joke is that Phil Neville got to keep his job. The only reason for this is some sort of sentimental loyalty because he's part of the '92 class.
This attitude we need to get rid off, make the place far more professional again.

Butt has done well at reserve level, so keep. Giggs should not have become assistant manager so easily but it seems the players respect him and get on with him. It could be something LVG needs. Scholes would be a decent coach but like Butt should start at reserve level.

It's a trade off. You want great servants like Giggs and Scholes around the club and especially the younger players, but at the same time, you don't want to create and Old Boys Club or have people on the staff who aren't yet qualified for the role, regardless of what they achieved in their playing days...
Butt and Scholes to the youth team. Giggs is already assistant - I'm a bit skeptical on that one. Phil Neville should have left with Moyes.

why could Scholes teach player a thing ot two. being a good coach is a different different kettle of fish than being a great player
