Great move for Zeli who might even get to play in Europe as Aberdeen are in the UEFA Cup.

But he clearly hasn't listened to David Davis advice after his loan at Inverness. It gets pretty cold up there in the winter.

Yeah i reckon this is actually a decent move, better than league 1 or 2 to be honest in some ways.

It should give him the space to show his talents if indeed he rises to it, and will have a handful of big games thrown in.

We did not cover a penny of the wages of the players that went out on loan. They took a drop so they could carry on playing.

It is funny how many times on this site people accuse other people of acting as if they know it all and then go on to in effect proclaim that its actually them that know it all.

I don't remember the club stating that we wouldn't pay some of their wages. As you've stated Moxey said it DJ, go find it so we can put this to bed.

As for getting rid of the unwanted, I've said it before and some are now saying the same thing. It's far better to get them off the wage bill than try and get fees for them.

As for Zeli, I'm afraid his time is up at Wolves. After making a few appearances where by all accounts he did well, he's now going off on loan again. There's even a few of the up and coming youngsters that will be ahead of him now.

Surprised he got pushed out so readily last season, he actually performed well for the most part, his pace could have been interesting later in games as the season went on.

I agree with WulfinSun that we should just get them off the player roster, pay them up and don't seek a fee. They are toxic. Dave makes a valid point too.

Dave, Zeli is not really that good. He goes AWOL an awful lot. What you describe, Dave, is the Zeli we had hoped for and hope to see once again. WUlfinSun, has called that correct in my opinion.
