Who should United keep or sell ?

Bar Sterling, No England player should be awarded even a 5 against Italy. 1 point from three games, I do not care if you ran the length of the London Marathon, but on average no one that team deserves a 6.5. 5.5 to 6 will be my highest and will probably give that to Sterling factoring in his age and what he brought.

Macca
No player should be pleased with their performances, a general 5.5 for the entire squad would do for me. No player had more than 1 ok game which is simply unacceptable.
But Suarez was clinical and his goals mattered, that for me makes a huge difference.

Sterling was reasonable first game
Non existent the second game
No goals. No assists.
He was not better than Rooney overall no matter what his age

Then that would not be an accurate reflection sorry
Some players were better than others and as I have said, 6.5 is hardly a great score either

So macca you think Rooney was England's best player this tournament!??

Tbf to sterling his pass to Rooney was just as important as his assist to Sturridge. Assists can be misleading and equally a pass can be made before an assist that is just as if not more important that the assist.
I personally would say sterling had a better WC when you take into account all factors.

Overall, along with Cahill I would say yes, but only just. And like I said, 6.5 is hardly an 8 or a 9 is it
Based on the fact he was our best player in one of the two games he played 90 mins in and he directly contributed to both our goals
Hardly a jaw dropping revelation.
If barkely had been out best player in one of two games he had played in and had scored or assisted in both our goals, I doubt people would be moaning if I was then saying the same about Barkley
You do realise I've only given him a 6.5 right?

Have to agree to disagree
I'm not dissing Sterling as a player though. In the future I think he has the potential to be one of the best in the World

Fair enough. No one is calling it jaw dropping, however Rooney was a 4 in that first game, and that is being polite. Vs Uruguay he was our best player no doubt. Then he made a cameo in the last game, i do not know how that warrants a 6.5.

Fair enough
I'll change Rooney to a 2 and give Sterling a 9
