Steven Gerrard is one player I love and respect but I believe he made a mistake coming out with this "Suarez being too good for Arsenal"
I guess when people are hurt they say things they do not mean. I am sure he feels bitter for Liverpool loosing out on Alexis Sanchez and the sale of Suarez which would have been his only hope of wining the league.
The metro did a good write up with facts as to why Steven Gerrard is very wrong.....

Suarez didn't agree though because he wanted to join us. It's a weird thing for Gerrard to come out with when Suarez has just left you

Gerrad was desperate that Suarez helps him to finally win a PL medal.

He advised him not to go to Arsenal before the season started, in the hope Liverpool would get top 4, then move to a much bigger club than Arsenal.
They did, and he did.

Haha Do you genuinely believe Suarez listened to Gerrard? He stayed purely cause Liverpool forced him to. Gerrard had no say in this matter. And it's frankly strange that he brought up Arsenal.
As for Suarez being too good for Arsenal. Nonsense. I reiterate. Arsenal had Henry a few years ago who's comfortably superior to Suarez. And they have numerous world class players now. That statement is wide off the mark. And reeks of insecurity.

Ah. What a fantastic retort.
As I said, Gerrard just pushed his insecurities onto Arsenal. Your club lost the best player you've ever had and have replaced him with average tosh. That along with Gerrard singlehandedly letting Liverpool and England down. Not the smartest thing piping up and talking garbage is it?

he's also too good for City, and Chelsea, and United and Liverpool.
He's too good for the league full stop.
The best of the very best go to Spain.
Henry made the mistake of staying too long in the 2nd (possibly 3rd) tier of football in his day.
