Ridiculous article, gerrard never said your too good for arsenal but good enough for Liverpool, it's well documented he told suarez to wait another year for the elite clubs.
Article is only viable if it compares arsenal and barca/Madrid. The club's worthy of the top 3 players in the world;.

there was no need for the comment, but it's plainly obvious that suarez should be in a team challenging for league and CL titles, something which arsenal just don't do (or didn't at the time). Maybe that will change this season. We will see

Don't know why the laugh and the wink are necessary - Liverpool are not currently an elite club. Neither are Arsenal.
Barca and Real Madrid are - they buy the best players in the world and are the favourites (alongside Bayern at the moment) for the CL every year.
I agree that Gerrard didn't need to say what he did but the simple facts are there to see, Suarez waited it out a year and got a move to an elite club. Had he gone to Arsenal last year would he be at Barca now? Not likely.

After finishing above Arsenal for the first time in 5 years and qualifying for the CL for the first time in 5 years Liverpool are now a much bigger club

It is not an assumption based on very little, it is perfectly reasonable prediction based on a substantial and relevant truth. You cannot seriously compare Liverpool's injuries last season to Arsenal's? Not to mention the difference in games played. Suppose it's Wenger's fault that he qualified for the CL and knocked you guys out the FA Cup?
