Editor of The Times has a problem with EFC

http://www.dixies60.com/2014/07/31/abc/?

Absolutely brilliant piece of writing, sums up the general outlook from most media outlets when referring to Evertons policy last season of using the loan market. The Times silence now that martinez foresight has paid off speaks volumes. It also talks about media bias to the 'Sky Sports magic circle'.

Just found this thread on the RS board; can't wait to see what Lucas's response is after the shît he gave us for this thread.

It's a classic post from the kings of bitterness

That thread is an almost dictionary definition of the 'when we do it it's bitter, but when they do it it's banter' cliché......

Lucas has decided to abandon this thread,I wonder why?

So an Everton player....not legend draws a bigger crowd than Jan Molby..

two totally different era's

back in 1993, there was very little internet coverage, no online ticketing, no social media.
the only way people found out about games and tickets was by either the papers or by phoning the ticket office.

in the current world, a player of jan molby would get a crowd significantly more than what he got at the time, purely because more people would be aware of it now

Great comeback Lucas, certainly put us in our place.....

=====

We hear so much about the difficulties getting a ticket for anfield, more so a ST. But it seems that even ST holders.....people who would be aware of the game didn't turn up.

Maybe the Echo/local radio never mentioned it. Either way, what a poor showing for Big Jan

I take it all the other testimonials had similar crowds Lucas?
