Yesterdays disallowed goal...

Just saw the replay confirmed my original thoughts, Killa made no contact with the keeper and he just dropped it into the net. Oh well....

Well that's the " rub of the green" for you, where city Are concerned. As far as I can remember the officals have never got it right when it matters. I'm not asking for game changing mistakes just justice.a recent example being : the referee and the assistants don't flag rugby tackles by portmouth players. But blow up for dive's from the portmouth players. The last time Ican remember anything major going our way AT HOME would be " the goal that never was" against Crystal Palace.

Guess we used up all our 'benefits of the doubt' that day. I'm not really surprised Palace were hacked off. Imagine how we would have reacted.
I think it was probably Dame Warlock who inflamed the situation as much as possible.

Upshot is...we have to sit through a collection of bad decisions and wait for the wind to change

Yes, indeed except we wont cry like a bunch of babies like the Palace management and supporters did! We understand that mistakes are part and parcel of the game and wont resort to churlish taunts of being cheated. Disgraceful!

I seem to remember Warnock didn't behave too badly over that 'goal' - he was furious but that's fair enough. It was Simon Jordan who inflamed things by calling our club 'cheats'.
