I am very much a cup half full kind of chap.
Just listened to yet another wonderful interview/show with Stuart pearce. My god he is such a breath of fresh air. Honest and committed.
Lascelles & darlow were sold against his wishes.
Ok.
Pearce said that he wanted to talk to the money men to get to the bottom of what exactly happened. Fair enough. Whilst this has obviously peed psycho right off. He sounds calm and totally committed.
My question/thought is this:
The players are still at the club.
We've got a chunk of cash for them (not enough..... But still a decent wedge....)
Pearce's hand MUST be strengthened when he says who he wants to buy next. Which means we are more likely to get the big name striker in that we really need.
So, will we be stronger or weaker this season because of this deal?!?
I think we'll be stronger for THIS season.
Therefore, IF we go up...... Will it really matter? And will it have been a good decision?
Strengthened our position?!

Fawaz starting to look like a real idiot he seriously needs to explain this

The problem with people like Fawaz is they think they can do what they like, when they like and how they like and everyone thinks its acceptable. Sorry I don't.

It isn't just the impact of losing the players but this will have an impact on your squad and how they view the club and their place in it. Fair play to Pearce coming out and nailing his colours to the mast but Fawaz's actions have completed undermined him. Players, or more specifically their agents will sense an opportunity to get their players better deals from either getting a move or holding the club to ransom when such weakness is demonstrated.

Pearce the politician subtly telling Fawaz what time it is, playing to the crowd and establishing some boundaries.
Forest fans not knowing who to follow, who to turn to, their hero or their master. The battle for hearts and minds is on, echoes of Longson vs Clough.
How will Fawaz respond with humility or hostility?
More gripping drama from the popular Nottingham soap opera. Tune in tomorrow for an exclusive with Kenny Burns.

I think we need some kind of explanation.
At least then we can be given the opportunity to say fair enough!!
The next interview with psycho will be interesting.
He said he's gonna get some answers. I think he'll probably be happy (ish) with the answers.
I think he's proven that he'll keep us informed!!
