The Number 9 shirt is up for grabs. Fryatt has been given No 7. So maybe something else is happening behind the scenes. We have to stay within FFP. We have the 2 players for the coming season and maybe we just need that sort of explanation to give us back our confidence

The problem with people like Fawaz is they think they can do what they like, when they like and how they like and everyone thinks its acceptable. Sorry I don't.
It isn't just the impact of losing the players but this will have an impact on your squad and how they view the club and their place in it. Fair play to Pearce coming out and nailing his colours to the mast but Fawaz's actions have completed undermined him. Players, or more specifically their agents will sense an opportunity to get their players better deals from either getting a move or holding the club to ransom when such weakness is demonstrated.
Pearce the politician subtly telling Fawaz what time it is, playing to the crowd and establishing some boundaries.
Forest fans not knowing who to follow, who to turn to, their hero or their master. The battle for hearts and minds is on, echoes of Longson vs Clough.
