Cuadrado

A few reports suggesting we've beaten Barca to his signature.

Would be a good signing. Not exactly priority but would provide pace to get in behind defenders and provide width. typical Man Utd player in that regard.

Trouble is if he plays as a wing back i can't see him getting a run at defenders too often as its a tough job as Shaw will find out.

Saw him a few times for Fiorentina and was very impressive but actually a little disappointing in the World Cup. Outshone by Rodriguez.

Another wait and see obvisouly!

Seems far more direct than Nani, or at least Nani of the past 2/3 years.

Tbh there are far better wingers out there who is rather be getting. Even if it meant spending an extra £15-20m to get someone like Di Maria it would be worth it.

Fiorentina’s president Andrea Della Valle met today Juan Cuadrado. He’s holding a press conference to explain the future of the Colombian: “I hope that Cuadrado stays, but I’m afraid tha some offers will arrive next week.”

So No offers in yet then. Glad as personally I don't see him offering much more Than rafael from RWB and would seem a luxury at £30m plus

“I asked Cuadrado to stay, but I’m not optimist. If some important offers arrive, we’ll have to let him go. We set the deadline to decide about it on August 15th, if the offers we have in mind will arrive, it will be impossible to keep him."

Colombian Nani? No, Thanks.

Hope to Christ we don't sign him.

Only seen him a handful of times, most of it being the WC, but he looks like a right donkey. A mix of Valencia and Gervinho.

Oh good god, that sounds bad

^Don't worry, he isn't.

He had a decent world cup, topping the assist charts even though he went out in the QF, and didn't play too well v Brazil.

However, his incredibly high stamina levels coupled with an attacking intent would be perfect for our 352. Also he impressed for Fiorentina last year. Would love him in our squad.

Hes been played all over the place but hardly ever as a right wing back, he plays best as a leftwinger/forward ,could see him being played on the left of a front 3, mata as the number 10' rooney or rvp as the striker, itll be like the robben role for the netherlands

Im sure we want him lvg has made comments about lack of pace and width in the team, but his comments about making a 'decisive move' in his career has barca written all over it
