I've not bought a newspaper for years. They're researched/reported by slime balls, edited by slime balls, owned by slime balls. It's a slime ball industry infested with self-important parasites.

If a few more stopped buying the tripe, then perhaps they'd not have the resources to keep chasing/hounding the likes of Gazza.

That being said, if people choose high profile, public lives or are born into that (royals) then one has to accept that one is exposed to that level of scrutiny.

Like it or not, chosen or not, these people become role models to the impressionable youth and even to the not so young.

The press in this country build them up to sell papers, then they knock them down for the same reason.
