I don't want to compare him to others, commentators, press, pundits and England managers at different age levels have placed their trust in him and have not been let down.

Stones was crap against Norway and is just a crap player in general. He can't even get into a defence that has decided 10 goals in 3 matches.

Exactly, then we would hear the usual rubbish about Sturridge instead. I suppose that is the upside to selling Welbeck as well. Once Rooney retires United players can no longer be blamed for Englands inept attack, we can blame Arsenal and Liverpool players instead
