How many games did Liverpool play last season 43 I believe. Man utd played 54 games so thats 11 less games Liverpool played last season. I actually find it funny Liverpool fans make it sound that Man utd should challenge for the league title as thats what Liverpool did last season with no europe when we challenged 7 years in a row under SAF with the title going to the last day and man utd finishing closer each time to either winning the title or missing out then Liverpool have ever done since the premierleague started.

SAF last 8 seasons in charge averaged 86.5 points per season so what Liverpool did in 08-09 and 13/14 season would be below average for SAF last 8 years.
