how good was that?

just got back(went for a few in the gorse hill afterwards)but seriously, how good was that? that was a decent tottenham team who we were up against tonight and we totally outclassed them second half. i know it's early days but i am absolutely buzzing off these young lads, including de gea(who i thought was solid tonight). and phil jones..what can you say? on the evidence of what i've just seen he should be captain of united, england, spain, barcelona,be the king and prime minister. the boy is simply immense. and if welbeck doesn't go to the european championships in the summer i'll eat my hat.

De Gea "Solid tonight"
I don't think so. He cant handle crosses. Too hesitant. Fumbles straightforward saves and looks frightened of getting in amongst both sets of players. He seems to be looking for trouble and not for the ball.
Did he show his inexperience by dropping the ball whilst it was still in play following the incident near the end when although the Spurs player was booked, at that time, the Ref had not blown his whistle to stop play.
I don't think he will last long.

The whistle had gone for a foul on de gea!
Don't see how he's looking for trouble and not the ball, what an idiotic statement!

be my guest. bookmark this too
Barca won't make the champions league final this season and the league will be a Manchester 1st and 2nd.

Your first one was reasonable enough I can see it happening. No barca in the CL final is a BIG call though... wouldn't bet on it personally....

just a feeling that I have. I don't think it will be United who knock them out but i really don't think they are unbeatable over two legs. Arsenal nearly did it !

JUST. How can you possibly not see DE Geas shortcomings. Last night. Neville, Andy Gray, Alan Brazil, Ray Clemence, The fabulous man united fan Alan Parry , Most of the Sky Team And The Radio 5 Live Team must have been watching and commentating on a different game to the one you are referring to. Get Real son.

JUST. By the way. The ref said today that he had not blown up when he ran to intervene and avoid a confrontation between your keeper and the spurs forward, when your keeper stupidly threw the ball away. The ref admitted that the ball was still in play and he blew up to stop any escalation of violence.
Make certain of your facts in future before being so critical of someone who was only trying to point out the Lads deficiencies. I think you will find that many Man United fans are of a similar mind.
Imagine the furore if Spurs had converted the loose ball and scored. Would we have ever heard the last of it from A.F. I doubt it.
