I know David James, Lampard and Friedel all had crazy consecutive runs of appearances in the League

Not sure if he was injured, but there was a guy at Chelsea called Winston Bogarde.
"In the end, he only appeared eleven times during his four-year contract, reportedly earning £70,000 a week during this period"
If I remember correctly, he refused to leave whenever they tried to make him a free agent

A mates sister was in Hollyoaks years ago. Poor fella had to deal with the fact all his mates wanted to nail his sister.
To this day I still remind him that the only reason he has friends is that his sister is hot.
