Kieron Dyer has to be the most injury prone footballer I know. I think the last 8 years of his career, he played less than 10 games a season!
He must have definitely earned the most sitting in the physio room.
A surprising one but I read this morning that since he signed for Liverpool, Daniel Sturridge has had 11 separate injuries.
Owen was always getting injured
Jones is becoming a bit of a sick note
Darren Anderton was the original however
As for you mentioning city. Aguero seems to be a bit of a sick note
Players are lot fitter yet there's just as many, if not more injuries than ever. Is it because of the speed of the game or the boots they wear or the diet etc?

Sturridge does pick up a few injuries but they all seem to be fairly minor ones that only keep him out for a couple of weeks at a time. I'd rather that than a serious eight month injury from which he may not fully recover.

If you look at Hargreaves injury case, he was only injured after the 07/08 season. Otherwise he was averaging 30+ games a season.

Going further back, when I was a kid Bryan Robson always seemed to be injured.

No, that was more to do with his attitude stinking up the place. Oh also being a greedy so and so.
Ledley King is easily the most injury prone player.
And he has definitely made the most money from sitting on the physio's lap.

Diaby is the most injury prone. 1 competitive appearance in last 18 months.
In the case of Hargreaves, it was one bad injury. Wouldn't really call him injury prone.
The most frustrating one for me was Louis Saha. When fit and in form he was one of the best strikers in Europe at the time IMO, but it was just lay-off after lay-off. The football we played with him up top in 06/07 was incredible.
Kyle Walker seems to be our new sicknote. What the hells happening with him?
