Enough of this rubbish!

I am getting sick and tired of this shubtill (please rearrange letters) about our brilliant win over United. The TV coverage suggests it is a national disaster. How can these megastars be beaten by hicks from the sticks? Leicester played as a single unit, a TEAM, and never gave up. United showed a lack of bottle, character and co-ordination and capitulated when they went behind. Gary Neville suggested that the slightly dodgy Vardy penalty was the turning point in the game! Pull the other one. United were still winning 3-2 and with the players they fielded they should have scored another three. United have some great players but at the moment are a poor team with a weak defence. And Leicester have a much better squad than most people believed. Please spare us the "how could it have happened ?" inquests and suggestions of cheating after the antics of Ferguson over so many years. Well done Leicester. A brave performance.

Contact is irrelevant.

It's not a non contact sport.

A 'forearm smash' - the delusion just grows and grows.

Vardy threw himself to the floor.

You know it, I know it. Everyone knows it.

A forearm smash!

It becomes funnier everytime you watch it.

Rafa reaches out then pulls his arm away.

If that's a forearm smash, you have lived a very sheltered life.

What a load of Bollhocks that video conclusively proves Man utd fans are pathetically poor losers. A perfectly good shoulder barge from Vardy with a straight arm push to make sure he did not come back its a MAN's game for god sake.

Pathetic those who have been saying no contact from your rubbish defender it shows he was trying to stick his toungue in his ear and guess what the ref was a lot nearer than all of us and his is the only opinion that counts so please feel free to go on about you are the poor losers.

But i guess you will still be bleating about this until you get beat again this weekend.

Here's my take. As I said before, we all were surprised that the ref didn't give a foul against Vardy in the build up. Granted. And when Vardy went down for the pen, we also said that he was waiting for Rafael to hit him, granted.

It happens.

But there's contact there. Rafael was not attempting to play the ball. He attempted to impede Vardy in the box and he was successful in doing so, therefore it was a foul in the box and the ref awarded a penalty.

Some days you get them, some days you don't.

And if you're memory is as good as mine, you might remember a certain Mr R Keane in a league cup match at Filbert Street who went down even more dramatically than that when Jamie Lawrence just glanced over in his general direction, and he won a penalty on that occasion.

Why are you fixated on the contact?

How can you impede someone when you're behind them?

All you're doing here is showing that:

a) You have no idea about the laws of the game

b) You have no defence for the dive, because even though there was contact, there's no reason for Vardy to fly into the air as he did.

But by all means, keep going.

How is bringing up another dive supposed to prove your point exactly?

What has that got to do with anything?

This thread is another example that some fans (a minority, it must be said) are so clouded by bias that they will genuinely argue anything.

All you can do is laugh, really.

United have fans like this too. I filtered one yesterday.

It's not so bad when it's a wind up, but this guy genuinely believes what he is saying.

Embarrassing.

Winnie you are so easy to wind up its good sport.
Guess what there's really nothing to debate.
Thanks for the points and a great afternoon i had wonderful afternoon won £70 on betting on the game.
Watching (my Hero) Bobby Charlton, Brian Robson, Angus Deaton and Eamon Holmes with faces like thunder at the end of the game.

We are never going to win the league but Sunday was the reason those mere mortals who's team does not have your history and money live for.

Easy now Winston chap. Things are not going well for you boys.... Well for some time now, you are accustomed to always getting your own way and getting ALL the decisions in the Fergie era. Welcome to the real world
The only embarrassing you should worry about is how your team imploded and showed NO fight whatsoever. That really WAS embarrassing

Hadn't really replied to you, had I?

I think you'll find the other Leicester fan actually believes what he's saying!

Have no grudge against you guys enjoying the result, and wish you all the best for the season - keep playing like that and you'll have no problems.

I'm curious... after reading my posts, why did you feel the need to tell me that I should worry about the team's implosion?

I think you'll find I've already said that.

Perhaps learn to read all of the comments before coming on here and embarrassing yourself.
