What cheating antics of Ferguson?
You Leicester lot aren't very good winners, are you? Every one of your fans who's come on to discuss your victory has produced articles laced with barbed comments. The ref was a homer, but Leicester deserved to win anyway. Move on
It was just a freak game. At no time until the penalty did it look like you'd score 4 more goals. We were in total comfort at 3-1.
These things happen. Ref had a brain fart and our players mentally collapsed.
Not the end of the word.

Longtimefox, as a fellow Leicester fan, I have to respectfully say this article is garbage. Its as annoying as the hundreds of United fans holding Clattenburg responsible for shipping 5 goals.
Every pundit I have seen comment on the game has given credit to Leicester - MOTD2 in particular took the angle of how well Leicester did rather than simply focussing on Uniteds failures. The fact is though, like it or not, a promoted club putting 5 past the 20 times champions of England never happens. Ever.
That means the focus is rightly going to be on what on earth United were doing to throw a 3-1 lead away and ship 4 goals in 28 mins. Thats the story - like it or not. Its a shock result which has rightly sent shockwaves through the PL. Would have been the same had it been Burnley or QPR. Take it as a massive compliment because it shows what an enormous result this actually is.
The 'how could this have happened' argument is perfectly valid when you consider a line up of Falcao, Rooney, Van Persie and Di Maria. It takes nothing away from Leicester, but no one is expecting Wes Morgan and co to smash that lot 5-3.
Lets get some balance here - great performance by Leicester. Media focus is naturally going to be on what on earth United were doing (they are the big club here), Leicester HAVE received huge credit in the media, United fans need to stop focussing on one appalling decision and look at the defence

I was pitch side at the KP on Sunday. I have to say, that even at 3-1 United did not look comfortable.
Not sure how many United fans on here watched the full 90 mins but it was fascinating. The reason we scored 5 was very simple. You played a narrow diamond and we exploited it over and over again. It was incredible to watch.
Had that happened at OT, we would have scored goals. Its a tactical flaw from LVG and he doesnt have the defence to pull it off. Rojo was bad, Blackett awful, Smalling bang average - honestly even at 3-1 down I knew we would score

The ref didn't hand us a few goals! You could argue he handed us 2 at best.
If United fans think this is a freak result resulting from ref decisions then they're in for a long hard season. We won't be the first putting 5 past you if you carry on playing like that

What won the game was the tactical awareness of our manager. To call the Ref a homer is rich coming from any Man Utd fan.
We where lucky not to be stuffed first half and i am sure when Utd get their players playing as a team they will not repeat this performance.
Blackett was pushed under the ball. We collapsed but the ref was atrocious.
Good old honest victory for David v Goliath, brave tommy's Leicester city give Adolfs boys bloody nose blah blah blah........
Wow, you won, great, just don't make out plucky little Leicester beat big bad United with good honest grit and determination, you can cheat with the best of them

Sorry - you actually go along with what Earl is saying? That despite every pundit crediting the victory to hard work, determination and character - you actually believe we cheated our way to victory??
I understand that viewpoint is preferable to looking at your own teams inability to defend or even win a second ball, but its a ridiculous thing to say.
I am trying to be balanced here - you were robbed for our second goal, you can make an argument for the first but thats it. No one else, other than some United fans are talking about Clattenburg. It was an inept display from a manager who went in with the wrong tactics playing with a couple of people who aren't fit to wear United colours.
No one in the championship ever made it so easy for us to score goals last season - dodgy ref or not
I have no issue with being happy with the win, I have no issue with being happy with your performance, I have no issue with pointing out the collapse of our defence however I haven't seen on Leicester fan say that it was a shocking decision that changed the game massively. I have however seen a lot of United fans say you can't blame the result on that decision and that Leicester played really well and that we collapsed.
Btw i'm not expecting United fans to admit we were the better side - I don't think on balance we were - but at least admit that you lost the game because of LVG, your defence and Leicesters energy and desire.
Look through our board over the last 2 days, come back and tell me you haven't found anybody saying that then I'll admit it.
