As many of their fans are glory hunters it doesn't really matter what they say as gives them very little identity as "fans". As they support a club based on its success you can hardly expect much grace in defeat can you.

Everyone loves a joke out of the 90's.
I bet you like Oasis too.
@cheshamfox
You might be better off quoting Enid Blyton than Voltaire on this thread, since simple fiction seems to be the preference.

She may, posthumously, be creating an updated version of the 'Famous Five'. 😉
Sadly for football it wasn't a joke.

Oh you were serious.
Oh dear.
Is this still going on or has the penalty been rescinded and Man utd where awarded.the win and the points ?
Normal service has been resumed where teams like ours role of and get beaten.
Apparently if a bad decision goes against United, United fans are not allowed to mention it.
However, if United get a decision in their favour, you are permitted to cry for a total of 8 days.

It would seem Spurs fans take 8 years instead of 8 days.
Some of us are just trying to put reasoned points across.
This debate is as old as the hills and will continue to rage on until we're all watching holo-football round our lounge tables played by and officiated by players and refs who are artificially generated by beams of light.
And if that were the case, we'd still have beaten you!!!

Sounds a lot like FIFA 15....
Fox_14 (U2869)
As I said earlier, I think some fans from both side of the fence haven't exactly covered themselves in glory.
Leicester played very well, they exploited United's weaknesses and worked damn hard. Credit to them and their manager.
The referee made a shocking decision not to award Rafa a free kick, and Vardy then conned him by diving to the floor. The decision had an impact on the game, but not as big an impact as the performance of Leicester and subsequent crumbling of United.
If Leicester can keep up that level of performance at home, they will do well.
United can blame no one but themselves, and need a re-think tactically if they're to put a serious challenge in for the top four, let along anything else.
That's pretty much it, isn't it?
Spot on Winston. Except it wasn't a dive.
It wasn't a pen on which we agree. We will never agree it was a dive.
"Except it wasn't a dive"
You can keep telling yourself that.
The video is conclusive. There's absolutely no way Rafael caused Vardy to fall at all, let alone in the manner he did.
By all means say otherwise, but the video shows you're wrong.
It's the way you say it so definitively as well.
'It wasn't a dive'
I mean, it's blatant. No trip, no push, nothing.
What do you think happened? A massive gust of wind caught him, did it?

That's pretty conclusive.
Pretty conclusive that Rafael elbowed Vardy in the back, yes.
Utterly deluded.
Every now and then you come across someone who will deny the bleddin' obvious.
And here we have it.
You genuinely think Rafael knocked Vardy to the ground?
Incredible. Truly incredible levels of bias.
Hmmm, you're right. It might have been more of a forearm smash than an elbow.
There's definitely contact though. You cannot deny it.
Fox_14 (U2869)
Contact is irrelevant.
It's not a non contact sport.
A 'forearm smash' - the delusion just grows and grows.
Vardy threw himself to the floor.
You know it, I know it. Everyone knows it.
A forearm smash!
It becomes funnier everytime you watch it.
Rafa reaches out then pulls his arm away.
If that's a forearm smash, you have lived a very sheltered life.
What a load of Bollhocks that video conclusively proves Man utd fans are pathetically poor losers. A perfectly good shoulder barge from Vardy with a straight arm push to make sure he did not come back its a MAN's game for god sake.
Pathetic those who have been saying no contact from your rubbish defender it shows he was trying to stick his toungue in his ear and guess what the ref was a lot nearer than all of us and his is the only opinion that counts so please feel free to go on about you are the poor losers.
But i guess you will still be bleating about this until you get beat again this weekend.
Here's my take. As I said before, we all were surprised that the ref didn't give a foul against Vardy in the build up. Granted. And when Vardy went down for the pen, we also said that he was waiting for Rafael to hit him, granted.
It happens.
But there's contact there. Rafael was not attempting to play the ball. He attempted to impede Vardy in the box and he was successful in doing so, therefore it was a foul in the box and the ref awarded a penalty.
Some days you get them, some days you don't.
And if you're memory is as good as mine, you might remember a certain Mr R Keane in a league cup match at Filbert Street who went down even more dramatically than that when Jamie Lawrence just glanced over in his general direction, and he won a penalty on that occasion.
Fox_14 (U2869)
Why are you fixated on the contact?
How can you impede someone when you're behind them?
All you're doing here is showing that:
a) You have no idea about the laws of the game
b) You have no defence for the dive, because even though there was contact, there's no reason for Vardy to fly into the air as he did.
But by all means, keep going.
How is bringing up another dive supposed to prove your point exactly?
What has that got to do with anything?
This thread is another example that some fans (a minority, it must be said) are so clouded by bias that they will genuinely argue anything.
All you can do is laugh, really.
United have fans like this too. I filtered one yesterday.
It's not so bad when it's a wind up, but this guy genuinely believes what he is saying.
Embarrassing.
Winnie you are so easy to wind up its good sport.
Guess what there's really nothing to debate.
Thanks for the points and a great afternoon i had wonderful afternoon won £70 on betting on the game.
Watching (my Hero) Bobby Charlton, Brian Robson, Angus Deaton and Eamon Holmes with faces like thunder at the end of the game.
We are never going to win the league but Sunday was the reason those mere mortals who's team does not have your history and money live for.
