Things to do on a Saturday Night in Glasgow

Aw right folks
Looking for a steer on stuff to do when I’m through on Saturday. Going to see Still Game and stay over. So any suggestions for:
Decent hotel in the city centre?
Good place to grab a bite to eat pre show? No Indian or Chinese as I can’t eat too heavy a meal on a night out. I like Scots / French but neither of us are fussy eaters so happy to try anything
It’s been over 10 years since I had a night oot in the west so where’s a good place to spend a Saturday night? Heard Merchant area’s no bad? Used to go to Bath St area way back but that was with the boys so I wasn‘t fussed where we ended up. Looking for a good atmosphere and bairn and bam free zone. Any decent gigs would be considered

Cheers in advance for any decent local info

Agree with that RnR, only time I've had a bad one was when I first went to the St Enoch centre one, just opened and they never had the filters for the sauce, I thought, can't make much of a difference.

According to my erse which was breathing like a dragon, it turns out very

I've still to try that Tribeca place near Sanctuary for grub, always mobbed anytime I've been near it and can't be bothered waiting

I was in Sanctuary on Saturday and seen big Chuck Mulgrew, tried to spill a drink near him to see if he slipped and injured himself but turns out he turns quicker in a club than on a football pitch

Where is the premier inn?

For both a curer and some decent grub I'd recommend Maggie May's at Merchant City on a Sunday afternoon, they also have a big screen so you can sit downstairs on a comfy couch with grub and beer

Here's the menu, the haggis and pulled pork nachos are good, Chicken Chilli noodles but my favourite is the Texan burger

Sounds perfect for a Sunday curer. You’re a star mate I’ll see what the crowds like as it’d be good to catch a bit of the tic game

No worries mate, me and the Mrs usually go there on a Sunday if we are both ruff, it's reasonably priced and for football it's very decent

I'll catch the Man United v Everton game on Sunday then back on the train to Glasgow from Geordie town so will miss the Chelsea game, might catch the 1st half actually, just seen it's at 2.05 and our train is 3pm
