Our last league win was 3-1 away at Derby on 1st March. Our last home win in the Championship was 1-0 against Burnley way back on 1st February.
It seems we do well when playing on the 1st day of the month. Bad news is the next time we play on the 1st is at Peterborough in October.
All in all these stats are rank by any standards. When are the excuses going to stop. You can only paint over the cracks for so long till you need to treat the problem in a proper manner.
Before the JA606 friends appreciation society jump up and down screaming foul, I have been a season ticket holder for a long time and I am entitled to my say.
It is now time to treat the problem before it gets any worse. It is still the same old problems "Cant Defend" "cant score without Billy" We often have over 50% of percession but cannot convert it into goals. When we do take a lead we try to defend it, but we cant do it !
Come on wake up, take off your rose tinted glasses there is a problem a B***dy big one. Teams have wised up to our passing game and close us down. Anyone seen plan B or C. We dont have them. We have fast wing men and a 6' 3" centre forward. how many times do we go down the channels and whip in a first time cross. Derby did on Saturday!
Lets hope the powers that be also realise our short falls

Hear, Hear, Pegdog, I understand that the main stumbling block is paying off the contract in which ever way. Once again penny wise and pound foolish in my mind. You keep onto a manager who has lost it for too long so as not to pay up his contract and you end up relegated with ALL the losses in revenue that would entail. I thought we were being well run by good businessmen, perhaps we are not so fortunate.

The reason we won against Tranmere was that we seemed to have a "shoot on sight" policy for that game, which appears to have been lacking in the games since. Please can we adopt it for tonights game.

good for you
lets hope we arent coming on later saying the same old things that never change!

the reason we beat Tranmere is we were able to play are passing game a game we seem unable to play in the league.
On the up side Stock, Hayter, O'connor and martis have all returned to training.
As for SOD i believe he has earned the right to stay on as manager he has proven people wrong time and time again, and their is not a manager out their who could get anything more out of the club then he has considering our small budget and the amount of injuries we have suffered in recent months.

Same old story again against Leeds. SOD commented that he was upset at the outcome. We were 1-0 up running the show and then Leeds changed the way they were playing." Hello its allowed" its what your supposed to do when your behind. The Leeds Staff made good use of their changes, you once again old son blew it. Harsh but true.

lets be honest he didn't exactly have game changing players on the bench so not much he could do

I said the same at the match, who would have gone up front if Hayter couldnt have done the full match?

exactly, the only creative player we had on the bench was stock and im not convinced he was match fit

If he had been he would have started.
Hopefully he will be included on saturday.
Also we should have number 26(Lanzo) avaialble again
It would have been ironic though wouldnt it if Wilsons block buster had gone in at 1-1 though wouldnt it.
