United have City/Chelsea in their next 3 games, will tell us a lot about their potential this season.
........
Man utd fans just take each game as it comes now after last season and every game is like a struggle to the end

This match was always going to be decided by the quality of players. Hazard's brilliance and Cesc's intelligence were decisive. It was obvious our decision to reject Cesc would come back to bite us in the bum, and it did. You never say no to a player of Cesc's quality.

Cesc did absolute nothing apart from his one pass to Costa. That was it about him. Why do you big him up after this game that Chelsea won because they were more efficient than us.

Chelsea had 18 points after 7 games in 10-11 season and Man utd finished 9 points clear in the end, we were 5 points behind at same stage.

Chelsea had 19 points after 7 games in 12-13 season while Man utd had 15 and we all know man utd ran away with it:

Same season we were 22 points ahead after 30 games so we gained 26 points in next 23 games that season.

So all this brown nosing of Chelsea after barely having many shots in a few games like today and Burnley will lead to Chelsea getting over confident and getting beat when the goals dry up and the opposition attack clicks.

In fact Chelsea should have had 2 reds. The CAhill tackle and the Cesc handball blocking the shot.

Koscielny penalty, Chambers yellows, Welbeck atrocity.

What a stupid comment. Were you watching the match? Cesc's pass alone shows the brilliance we lack, and Cesc was generally far better than Ozil today. Cesc has been arguably one of the best midfielders in the PL this season and is very consistent. It's not bigging him after the win because he has been brilliant this season.

Brilliant this season doesn't mean he was great this game.

To be honest I think he did what was asked of him, which didn't make him look outstanding, but that pass what different class.

That pass was a moment of sheer brilliance, you can't deny that. And my point is overall he was better than Ozil, whether you think he was brilliant today or not. It was utter stupidity to reject Cesc because of Ozil because right now Ozil would be sitting on the bench if we had got Cesc.

Oh I completely agree in that regard.

I said at the time we should have got him, he can play deeper or as a number 10 and as such we could have rotated him Ramsey and Ozil between the 3 positions and covered for injuries, not even taking Cazorla or Wilshere into account.

We would have had the best midfield in the league, now we look short there and have let Chelsea sign a player to make them a lot stronger.

Stupid move
