I just left a post saying that Wenger has to go. Many people posted back saying "Be careful what you wish for." I don't get this negative type of thinking. Especially as Arsenal supporters have put up with Wenger patiently for the last ten years with disappointment and ineptitude plaguing every season and things don't seem to be getting any better now.
We are ARSENAL! We should never accept mediocrity for fear of taking a step into the unknown. One day Wenger will have to go. I accept that when that day does eventually come, the transition to a new manager may not be smooth but WE ARE ARSENAL and should only settle for the best. 'Be careful what you wish for,' advocates need to grow a pair of balls. It is that type of thinking that lets mediocrity rule, Wenger show up to games in his smoking jacket and slippers …and keeps the trophy cupboard bare.
To those who say "be careful what you wish for," I say He Who Dares ... Wins!!!
Be careful what you wish for …What?

He's been very unlucky with Giroud's injury.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On the contrary, he was very fortunate that Giroud was injured during the summer transfer window and he was able to rectify the fact that he didn't buy a striker at leisure with the panic purchase of Welbeck.

It's a very lousy argument. The belief that only ONE man can lead Arsenal is a very cowardly view of the game. You cannot make radical progress without risks. Barca would never have brought in Guardiola. Bayern wouldn't have brought in Heynckes. Chelsea would have stuck by Ranieri, or Di Matteo. Liverpool would have retained Benitez. Southampton should have been buried after losing Pochettino. Swansea should have been relegated since losing Rodgers. It's just pathetic.
You would think we're talking about a man that has been here for 1 month - rather than EIGHTEEN facking years. Just pathetic.

I mean, seriously, in what warped fantasy world is calling for a change from an EIGHTEEN-year period at the helm supposed to be so scandalous? In case you're not aware, there are no managers other than the once-in-a-lifetime case of Fergie who stay as long as that in a top club. And Wenger is no Fergie.
