Never in the history of motorsport have we seen such mind games and deliberate calculated attempts to completely crush the opposition. Lewis is strategically dismantling Rosberg, he is sowing the seed in Rosberg's mind that no matter what you throw or try you will not succeed. Lewis was just cruising in his qualifying laps, one can see from the onboard footage that he was not really attacking, the brakes story is just a decoy . Today in the race Rosberg will be hunted down, cornered and destroyed!

Hamilton I think is also good at pressurising a driver into a mistake when chasing his opponent down. Just as Button did to Vettel at Canada a couple of years back

thought vettel had alot of bad luck with the safety car that day that came out no less than 6 times i believe -
fair play to button but in reality it was the safety car that won it for him --

Safety car granted, you still felt that when Button ramped up the pressure Vettel cracked. A bit brittle under pressure some of these drivers

The problem with Seb is that he always exceeds the track limits so when you put pressure on him, he will crack. He's also not very talented and has mediocre race craft.

“not all of them had the advantage of hamiltons merc” - if that comment had been made by someone that demonstrated an actual knowledge of F1 then I would have been extremely surprised. However it wasn't so I’m not.
Hamilton's merc was actually overtaking another merc (if you care to look closely) also, I think I explained the overtake sufficiently clear enough to point out that Hamilton did not use his speed advantage to complete the move. The DRS closes when you hit the brake and Hamilton was keeping position next to Rosberg and matching his speed not going faster than him. The DRS was used to close up but that is not the brilliance of the move. I have already adequately pointed that out to those members with sufficient knowledge of F1 and therrefore see no more need to discuss the overtake further.
Que you know who posting a reply repeating his previous nonsense.

Which is why I called the statement rubbish as it was bereft of logic or common sense

maybe i am missing something but on one of the widest straits in F1 with the massive speed advantage of DRS hamilton got alongside rosberg and passed him on the inside in a very simple textbook maneuver that would have been easy for just about any F1 driver to accomplish with the speed advantage of DRS -
------------- what exactly was so great about the pass when the back strait was just about the widest in F1 and hamilton had the massive advantage of DRS --
i dont mind giving any driver praise when they perform a complicated well thought out move , but this was purely text book stuff which would have been very easy for any driver with DRS advantage to negotiate --
