WHITE...
You ask
Ok bit all over the place but you can see what I'm trying to do. Is our team this year better or worse than last year.
The only way I can answer the question is to say this, I look at the two line ups you produce and can say the one on the left (the current squad players) makes me more confident that I'm going to be entertained.
This squad has potential but needs consistency.
Hopefully Neil Redfearn can push us on

From what I've seen of this squad so far it's better than last season. The football certainly is. I can't recall the last time I witnessed football of the quality our team produced in the 1st half against Blackpool. You can all say it was only Blackpool - to an extent that's right. But I saw link up play, passing and football of a standard not seen in years at ER.
We scored 5 goals in succession (if you include the 2 x Mowatt against Charlton) which were all crackers, for differing reasons.
This squad is much younger - the midfield is looking like it can develop into a major force if retained and given time to develop. Need to rotate mind, no point burning out the likes of Cook, he needs to be given rest as well.
Lets not forget this team is pretty much new. All getting to know each other, after 3 managers with differing tactics and formations. How the hell were they ever going to gel with that turmoil going on around them. Given NR on a consistent basis, given a structure - then I believe they'll continue to improve. Need to do it for more than 1 half - they will im sure.
A team comes from out of the pack most seasons. They come from nowhere after a shaky start to a season. Call me an old fashioned optimist, but there's elements of our play which make me believe we could do it. Not saying promotion, but a real charge towards the upper end of the table.
Anyone can disagree with the above all you want. You can say i'm living in dreamland - i'd rather do that and "blindly" follow my side i'm afraid. There's just a whiff of promise about this side ...........

Sheldon you are living in dreamland and one swallow does not make a summer, but I agree there is reeason to hope that we actually may have a decent side.
For me the positives are we have seen glimpses of good play, this is still a very new squad, they are on the younger side and can grow, and we may have a coach that may be around awhile.
Now if the foreiogners can just learn some English...

That's good, nothing wrong with dreamming.
Lets just hope that when you wake up the reality is not too rough on you.

I'm happy with Elland Road. I'm happy with Cellino. I'm happy with the current squad (a few others wouldn't hurt).
Let the good times roll.
