This season is a write off, Sack him NOW

There's nothing in the argument that 'we should keep Wenger till the end of the season as he guarantees fourth' - he guarantees NOTHING, especially this season, where Sanchez has pretty much kept us top half.

I would much rather appoint the new guy NOW, and have the rest of the season for the new guy to settle in. Then, in August 2015, we have a good platform to build on with a guy that's had a good 8 months or so in the job. Even if we finish 7th or 8th because of that, we'll have a much better next season than if we wait till June to replace Wenger, the new guy has to spend months adjusting to it and 2015/16 is a write off as well because of that.

Replacing Wenger now would also give the coach TWO transfer windows to make his mark on the squad, instead of ONE and consequently these new players would have six or so months extra to get used to Arsenal. I'd also have much more faith in a new manager to get the additions we need in January than Arsene, who's left gaping holes in the squad since Viera left, ffs.

I can't handle another month of this, let alone the rest of the season.

I'm frustrated with how we have stagnated under Wenger and think that it would be best for him and Arsenal to part ways, sooner rather than later, but at least I show some decency towards him. Some of you are coming across as extremely ungrateful.

I'll thank him WHEN he leaves. How can I show gratitude when I want him out ASAP.

What a silly article, what would be the point in sacking wenger now? I agree he can't take us further, but there's nobody available atm.

I understand you have a "wenger out" persona to keep up, but don't let it cloud your logic

What defines an 'available' manager?

Every manager in the game is available for the right price just like any player.

A manager that's good enough to take over from wenger that is also willing to move in November.

We could get Pulis like someone on here wanted a while back.

Wenger should have gone in 2009 just like I said back on BBC606.
Some of his glaring mistakes are really quite ridiculous. Not even i thought he and the team would become as bad as they have.

I think you could get Paul Clement in from Madrid for 8 months. Lots of football people reckon he could be a good manager but you could give him a short term contract see if he is any good and if not get a bigger name over the summer. Sort of a win win I guess

to cut a long story short , wenger is going nowhere unless the situation deteriorates rapidly and that's only possible if we loose, now it's a very hard choice for a football fan but it is a testament to the destruction that wenger has unleashed on this club, we the fans should actually hope our team looses a few more games, the atmosphere becomes toxic and wenger is forced to leave in
