If not Falcao then who?

Hey guys, love this sub.
I'm getting a little ahead of myself here but say Falcao continues with injury problems and RVP keeps playing how he is and paper talks of him being moved on at the end of the season, especially as he'll be 32 when the season starts, then who should we be looking at for our strikers?
Rooney has been great this season but in the next year or so I can imagine him playing a deeper role when he loses more of his speed, plus he'll be 30 next October. James Wilson has been quality for the reserves and U21's but is yet to prove it in the first team.
If we are to stick with what we have then next season our strikers will be RVP 32, Rooney 30, Falcao 29 and Wilson 19.
Any world class strikers under 27 we could go for?
All hypothetical of course! Cheers

Yeah I was sad to see Danny leave as I thought in his first full season with Rooney behind he showed what can be possible. Will he ever be of the quality we require, hard to say but yeah sad to see him leave. That's in the past now though so let's see who we can bring in, anyone know of any lightning quick forward with good work rate and an eye for goal?

Benzema springs to mind as the only one around period tbh. Sturridge?

pele at Southampton is the type of striker we need imo.Good goalscorer who can hold up the ball and bring others into play.

If Reus is off to Bayern then maybe we should look at who Bayern will be willing to sell. Seem to be turning into a bit of Real in collecting talented players but not being able to fit them all in.

Fair point. Though it's worth remembering that at the start of next season Robben and Ribery will be 31 and 32 respectively.

I'd love to get Robben in even if it was just for a season or 2. Still got the pace and seems to have sorted his injury problems. Might be happy for one last big contract move.

Paco Alcacer!

Don't see Alcacer as PL material. Could see him ending up as a sort of Soldado mk.II tbh.
