DeAndre Yedlin has been granted a work permit and is expected to move to Tottenham in January.
Spurs signed the United States international right-back after an impressive World Cup but allowed him to remain with MLS side Seattle Sounders until next summer.
However, the move has been brought forward and Yedlin, 21, could find himself competing for a first-team place at White Hart Lane in the new year.
Speaking of his forthcoming move, Yedlin admitted that it will take time for him to adjust to the Premier League.
"It's going to take me time to adjust," Yedlin told MLSsoccer.com back in October.
"I'm not expecting to go in right away first day and start. So if I'm playing, there's no reason to take me out of that environment."
Tottenham’s first choice right-back Kyle Walker has recently returned to training after nearly nine months out with a pelvic injury.
We have the Yedlin!!

All I'd say is don't expect the same as we got in the World Cup. Any side with Yedlin in needs a really, really disciplined right-sided midfielder. Lamela is not that man. Yedlin is lightning quick but from memory I don't remember him doing much in the way of defending at the WC. Time will tell.

For the premiership it's better to have a fast defender that can learn positioning than a slow one with good positioning. Don't care who you are... with Poch's formation and tactics if you are slow you will continuously get found out.

Problem with Rose is he really isn't that fast. I don't think he's fast than Davies. Yet Davies has little more Football IQ (Not much though)

Yedlin could play right wing for this season

I think that'd be a bad idea, he's a right back from MLS.. I'd be happy if he takes Naughton's place for now.
