He'll need a break after playing a long MLS season with a WC in the middle!!
Then he'll need a mini preseason, I guess a few U21 games will be good for him along with training with the first team!
Then a few cup games and a place on the bench depending on walkers fitness!!

Get in there! Top 4, here Spurs come!
I bet a lot of you supporters will be slagging him off by February. Let`s not get too carried away.

So true... what it does mean is between Walker and Yedlin we will not be outpaced on our right side. Both have good recovery speeds. unlike Naughton, Chiriches and Dier who is not a full back.
Now for the left...what to do with Rose? He just signed a new contact so are we saying Rose and Davies are going to be our left back options for the next 4-5 years. If yes then Poch needs to find a fast, defensive minded left mid to compensate.
Wouldn't mind Coentrao playing ahead of Rose if we could sign him.
If Walker is fit then i would not be surprised to see Yedlin play as a winger competing with Lennon.
welcome to spurs......
lets give this kid time to find his feet and develop before we slaughter him
He's meant to be quite raw so will need time.
I'm sure that this adds to our American fan base. Now we need to get some asian players in to grow our market.

I prefer to start from the expectation of him being shiiiit, poor positional sense, relies on his pace to get him out of trouble, thinks he's a winger first, defender second, and no idea how to face top quality opposition like Hazard & un-nerves the rest of the back 4.
He'll fit right in
All I'd say is don't expect the same as we got in the World Cup. Any side with Yedlin in needs a really, really disciplined right-sided midfielder. Lamela is not that man. Yedlin is lightning quick but from memory I don't remember him doing much in the way of defending at the WC. Time will tell.

For the premiership it's better to have a fast defender that can learn positioning than a slow one with good positioning. Don't care who you are... with Poch's formation and tactics if you are slow you will continuously get found out.

Problem with Rose is he really isn't that fast. I don't think he's fast than Davies. Yet Davies has little more Football IQ (Not much though)

Welcome to Tottenham DeAndre
Mind you John Terry is like a fecking snail, but he knows all about positioning.
