First signs of protest

Was at the match last night and the Gwaldys Street was very vocal.

Pretty much all game the group behind the goal sang. On the odd occasion it spread to most of the street end. Even when we went 1 nil down they carried on.

We got the full rendition of Everton songs including the bad taste 39 Italians. The group in the middle carried this on most of the game.

One chant of note which was sang when we were 3-1 up in the second half was " Sack the Board". I noted when this was sung it spread to other parts of the Gwaldys not just the hardcore who always sing, so maybe the tide is finally turning.

Another point of last night was the terrible attendance. 17173 is very poor and it was bad to see the ground half empty. Not sure if this was a protest also but bad thing to see. The tickets were very cheap last night £13 for season ticket holders and £16 for paying in on night, so cannot think of a reason other than a protest for this bad attendance. Round where I sit I noticed a few of the regulars were simply not there these are all season ticket holders.

Anyway at least those singing sack the board last night had the decency to wait until the match looked safe as to not impact the side.
