Well I enjoyed the game and expected a more 'vocal' protest. To be honest if it were any other 2nd round cup clash on a Wednesday eveining I wouldn't have gone. Watch the attendance rise for home games in the upcoming rounds
PJS it was a start I guess. Not sure where you sat but I sit in block GT5 lower Gwladys which is just to the left of the goal. They never shut up the whole game.
I expected more myself too I also noticed a few boos of Neville after his real fans comment when he came on but they were outnumbered by those cheering for him.
Enjoyed the game myself the defending for their goal though was truely shocking. From where we sat we all could see the lad in the middle running through it was like slow motion could not believe not one of teh central defenders tracked him.
You might argue Jags at fault again to add to the QPR goal.

I agree he was at fault. However this is only two blips in 40+ games for us so I can forgive him that.
Barkley looks like he has always played at this level, what a prospect! Rodwell also looked to be playing a little better, hope that continues.
Although not one of the singers, you will notice that us Gladys Lads also sing with humour and don't all suck on lemons. Jags was at fault again, although not worrying to much yet. Controversial statement 'Yobo while prone to the odd mistake, was also very quick and invariably got us out of as much trouble as we got into'. It is also glaringly obvious that we need to get a striker from somewhere to profit from our obvious build up play. While Coleman is out how come Davey Boy has not put Anichebe out there? Try Fella back up front for a couple of games, it worked the last time we had problems.
Didn't get down there last night, reason for me is I have to prioritise, season ticket is a real luxury for me and with a mortgage and two young kids I can't really justify spending another £30 (ticket, fuel, beer and food) when I've got mouths to feed at home. FA cup would be different, wouldn't miss an FA cup game at home whoever the opposition.

Perfect reason not to go, its the additional expense that I am sure kept people away.
I sat in lower bullens as I usually do and I didn't hear any songs at all. I know it's a quiet part of the ground but I can't watch a game from an end.
The Utd fans were good actually

You can normally hear the signing in all parts of the ground, I could hear little bits from the main stand but nothing major.
I could hear quite a bit seargent.
Talks Krap,
£13 for a ticket ?
How far away do you live from the ground (fuel costs)?
Can you not go to the match without beer?
Just trying to work your costs out.

Sounds like a stalker to me.........Stranger - Danger
I sat in the Upper Gwladys and heard "sack the board" song coming from the lower Gwladys but it wasn't very loud at all and only lasted a few seconds.
I'm not Rodwell's biggest fan but I must say he played well last night and hopefully he can kick on now.

It was a start, he needs to start performing like that in the league before we can say a corner has been turned, however its a start for him.
Would you say Barkley looked comfortable at this level and has more to come?
Barkley had added a spark to the side and he looks as comfortable as a 17 year old in the team as Rooney - not that I'm saying he's going to be anywhere near as good.
It does llok like our youth system has produced another first team regular though.
Like most young players his performance level will likely drop but I've been impressed in the 3 games I've seen him.
His decision making will improve with experience.

He plays without any fear, like Coleman and has little repect for reputations.
A Rooney comparison was given to Baxter and it has taken him time to develop, lets just say he will be the first Barkley
We can work out how much other posters fuel costs are by the time thier journey to Goodison (round trip) takes them.
Keep your eyes open,it is usually once a week we are reminded.

Stranger - Danger.
Make sure you show all your working out, even if you never know the real answer it will get you something
To be honest I've thought Baxter would make it. He doesn't look fit and I think his attitude has been suspect in the past.
To be fair to him he only ever gets around 10 mins very rarely but when he does come on he tends to give easy balls away and run into players.
Perhaps he needs to go out on loan to get game time.
Barkley looks excellent and it will only be a matter of time before the media start demanding he be sold to one of the Sky 6 for the sake of English football.

He may develop late just like Osman did, maybe the hype got to him and stopped him pushing himself to show the talent he has?
No chance can I get through one of our games without a beer, it is the only thing that keeps me from having a heart attack (is that an oxymoron?!?)
If you want to know, £13 ticket, £5 mcd'ys on way (matchday ritual - three hamburgers, medium fries and a coke - and if we win it's a mcflurry on the way home!) plus beer and and I reckon it's about £8 petrol there and back from Appleton (Warrington). Add 20p CE if I need to put air in the tyres.
