Memories of Roker Park, before their move to a new stadium. Once drove there with younger son, and just on the outskirts of the city (it has just been given the status), a car driven by Kevin Ball pulled out in front of us. Bingo! Stuck close to his rear and got led to our destination!

Saw us win at Roker with an Andy Gray winner. One of the best grounds I have been to
Probably fifth place behind Highbury, Old Trafford, Maine Road and The Valley.

Leaves room for imagination - usually far more interesting than what is happening on the pitch. You can also nip off and have a shít without having to queue.

Final point about this cup tie which was an entertaining game. It was good to see both teams going for the win in the last 15 mins which isn't often the case in league games. It's that which makes cup games different and often better than the norm
