Lets Help Villa Score

poor villa haven't scored a goal since about 2003, and a couple of us on other threads were discussing ways that we could maybe help them.

such a big and famous club, its a shame to see them in the state they are.


actually, its hilarious, but i still have sympathy with those poor fans, especially andy grays .

as i say this villa just conceded the 5th.


so i thought we could come up with some ideas to help villa, and then i could maybe send this article off to Lambert and he can bring some of it in.



suggestion 1. Villa can bring their own goals with them. they can be any size they want. the whole width of the penalty area if they so wish. at half time all the fans can lift that goal to the other end.


suggestion 2. we could apply to FA that opposition teams are not allowed to have a keeper. instead they have one of those player shaped cones that people use to practice free kicks with. and you stick it in the middle.

any shot that is on target surely has to go in???



suggestion 3 - sniper. its a bit extreme but desperate times call for desperate measures. perhaps they could position a sniper on top the stand. and when villa have the ball anywhere near the box, he picks off the keeper.

then villa will just have to avoid the falling keeper (which might still be tricky), and voila. you will have a goal.
