Not naming names, but I think the way some people have spoken about one of our most legendary figures in recent days has been pretty disrespectful. Psycho, to me, will always be a hero.
Granted, that may have made me more patient with him than I would be with others. That was certainly part of it. But I also felt that the work he had done in the background, the mess he inherited, and the injuries he had to put up with, meant that he should have been given more time to make things his own. He wasn't. I understand why and I accept it. But I'm truly gutted for the man. It may not have worked out but he still did a lot of good for this club. I think a lot of this came down to bad luck and bad timing, which is a shame.
I'll also admit that I may have been a bit quick to judge Dougie. Having read a few articles and opinions, I am slightly more optimistic about him (but not about the current state of our club.) This article gave me hope: http://www.nottinghampost.com/Nottingham-Forest-fans-pleased-appointment-Dougie/story-25964431-detail/story.html
But the main issue still exists. We are a club going nowhere if Fawaz continues to try and rip it all out and start again every few months. He is like a spoilt child, realising halfway through a season on football manager that he won't win the treble, pressing reset and starting again. And he is about as good at managing finances as my four-year-old niece.
So good luck with that, Dougie. And let me say an early good luck to the manager after Dougie, who will probably start in September.
Bad luck, Psycho. Good luck, Dougie.

Pearce was a QPR fan as a kid, so...
I had not read that article, very interesting. Thanks Ray.

FAWAZ OUT!

I wouldn't call it hate, more utter bewilderment.

No one would survive three wins in twenty three games eh? Dougie would have been awarded an extension to his contract had he managed that with us (Bolton).

Doesn't the unpaid bills and the CEO stuff bother you Rev?

We're the laughing stock of the championship once again. I'd rather be a skint club with people who know what they're doing.
I along with 12 others regularly watched the reds home and away many stopped going but came back when the legend that is Psycho was at the helm. Having spoken to most of them we've now concluded enough is enough and why should we spend our hard earned money on a tin pot organisation run by more cash than sense approach. Shame really.

FAWAZ IN!!

I really don't understand you Rev. I don't know if it's a desire to disagree with everyone else, or of you believe all the drivel you spout on here. Can you point to one thing Fawaz has done well at the club?

One of our fans was aiming comments at people who had concerns about the CEO resigning that he supports Fawaz not some Villa reject. Of course he got replies saying that he should be supporting the club
