Yesterday,s Ref - Didn,t do owt wrong

Excellent performance yesterday, win thoroughly deserved but why can,t the gooners accept defeat. I keep reading how the ref had a poor game as an excuse - WTFFFFFFFFFF ? Considering Arsenal,s goal was OFFSIDE - yes only a foot but "only just offside" is no different to "only a little bit dead" - still OFFSIDE, still DEAD.
Somebody do tell us what game-changing decision Atkinson and his linos got wrong in our favour. Just man up

Man's never been to the moon, the mafia had Kennedy shot, there you go more conspiracy theories to go with your statement of yesterday's game

But my comment was a general one (except the bit about yellow cards).

And you have to question the evidence for things on conspiracies, rather than just accept what anyone tells you.

For example, it was the CIA who shot Kennedy. The reason I say this. Watch the film and you can see a gun raised in the front of the car, a puff of smoke and Kennedy flies backwards, as if shot where the gun actually is.

I've seen it all very well presented on conspiracies - governments in league with aliens, black helicopters, the moon landing, etc and its only the Kennedy one that is convincing.

Yeah probably agree on the Kennedy point, but I honestly thought the ref was ok yesterday, I think the general standard of referees is very poor not anything to do with bias towards top teams

No, he wasnt okay. He gave far too many yellow to Arsenal players and forgot to give some to Spurs player. And there were a few fouls especially on Giroud who were worth a yellow.

Let's face it. All prem refs are crap. They influence the outcome of games far too often. Burnley just had a blatant pen turned down that would have won them the game.

It's just part of the hurly-burly spectacle of the English game unfortunately.

It's all opinion, I think arsenal were trying to slow the game down and waste time right from the start, the goal keeper seemed to feign injury when spurs mounted their first attack and it carried on untill you had to try and get a goal, see that's how opinion works, you probably won't agree with my opinion but who's to say I am wrong?

Yup - just depends on what colour glasses you are wearing.

Just watch for the one I said. Not just what decisions are given but WHERE they are given as well. It really is an eye opener if youre naïve enough to think there is nothing going on.

Referees constantly giving 50 50's to one team letting one team grow psychologically while the other feels aggrieved is one of the most underrated match deciders in football. Its so subtle but crucially important for the ebb and flow of a football match. The referee was ruled by the crowd yesterday, he was an utter coward

You cant expect spuuds to have enough brains to understand that.

I am gooner now is EXACTLY correct. Don't underestimate how much of an impact the ref had on that game. Yes we were playing on the counter but Mason and other players got away with multiple bad tackles hacking at our players legs and ankles, no way near the ball and never received yellow cards till very late despite repeating the offences again and again. This meant they could continue cheating/fouling whatever you prefer to call it until the dying minutes of the game, by which point we had given up. Danny Rose stamped down on Welbecks ankle and we didn't even get a foul! There were several other "Shout at the TV/Ref" moments for Arsenal fans and it was not because we are biased it was plain as day for any supporter to see. The yellow cards we picked up for nothing tackles/challenges was beyond a joke, I spent 90 minutes shouting at the decisions, you could also see he couldn't wait to given Tottenham a free kick in Eriksen shooting positions. There was another moment where two of your defenders climbed on Girouds back like he was giving your player a piggy-back to head the ball and ref just ignored it. Unbelievable.
