What I don;t get is with 2 strikers playing, neither move to the near post.

There were two very good, low crosses in today and no one at the near post...

players dont have a clue what other players are going to do next. very poor understanding of each others game. we are 7 months into the season now, this is simply not good enough

Dross from start to finish.

We were playing burnley at home we barely attacked them

It was a job done, nothing more. However note that we lost two of our starters after 30 mins and were without our best midfielder and starting left back.

We were playing burnley at home and they were attacking in more numbers than we were.

In the second half we had a free kick, midway in their half. Falcao was the only player in their box and we hit the free kick 20 yards backwards. Yes, that really did happen

If you enjoyed the game tonight, at home to burnley, then cool. I did not. It was utter rubbish from start to finish.

They are both isolated too

We haven't done that since 2010, not a phenomenon unique to LVG.

they were isolated cos the have no pace and can't run the channels. The cbs marking them could have had a picnic and still be marking them

we have enough quality in attacking areas to make it work, I dont think our main problem is individual players being poor or being slow. our main issue is that We simply dont have a game plan.

there is no cohesion in play, very poor understanding of each others game, team is not defending or attacking as a unit, all symptoms of poor coaching. We can pick up individual players and criticize them all we want but its managers job to get them working as a team so the weaknesses of individual players dont get exposed all the time.

I will support LVG as long as he gets top four but he has done a poor job so far in developing a style of play.

Evans starting, smalling not, Rooney in CM, Herrera not.
