There is no debate that Skrtel has been very good.
Anyone who thinks he's been better than Can or Sakho is living in a dream world

He is undoubtedly a great "team" player. However, too much shirt pulling to give him the "player of the year" award in my opinion.

For people who underrate a player...they're the people that go too much the other way and overrate him...e.g Skrtel for player of the season

In your opinion. For me Skrtel has at least been our second best player with Sterling the only other close to him. To say he's been the best, well I agree.

Not the player of the year, but has been our most solid CB the whole season for me

Who would you give it to?

Skrtel is the only challenger to Sterling for player of the year.

Nobody else has been near their consistency for the whole season.

You can't give player of the year to players who only play well from the middle of December onwards, even if they were injured for the first 4 months.

Said it before; he is one of the top 5 defenders in the prem. An absolute beast

skrtel is and has been for several seasons out best defender, he's playing his best fit all ever for is right now IMO wins every battle in every game rarely doesn't come out with the ball from a challenge and is dominating anyone he comes up against in the air.

System helps bo doubt but he's doing everything right and doing it consistently.
