To most people, including a lot of Spurs fans, the player that has burst onto the scene in a blaze of glory this season, showered with media interest, and hailed as the latest Spurs hotshot is obviously Harry Kane. Right?
OK. If not Kane, then who?
Christian Eriksen? Massive potential but currently inconsistent. Is he a lot better than Sigurdsson?

Danny Rose has been absolutely superb . In a team setup where the attacking skill of the fullbacks is arguably more important than the defending, he has come on leaps and bounds this season, in both regards. Gets caught out now and again, but the way we play he will do.
Dier has been a great little surprise too, now he is playing in his proper position. The kid is 19/20 and looks assured and composed on the ball, and although he has an English passport it's easy to forget he is essentiay a 'foreign-youngster-that-needs-time' in terms of his Portuguese football education.
Kane is undoubtedly the find of the season. Can't suggest otherwise with a straight face.

Tbh, poch was slow in bringing kane and dier (as centre back) into the team. It was sherwood who was prepared to take a risk on the young players.

It was Sherwood who gave starts for Kane and Bentaleb, with posters on here claiming Bentaleb must be his love child for playing him over Capoue. Where are the same complaints this season?
He also gave Chadli more of a chance and his goals started to come too.
Posters won’t admit it because they dislike Sherwood, but we have a lot to thank him for in his short time at our club. We don’t have to go overboard but a little appreciation wouldn’t hurt...
