My Way Ahead

Ok so there is much debate regarding what we need to change to make the football better in this country.

Firstly a joint meeting by all football chairmen from all divisions. Prices dropped to a more realistic price right across the board. How can you charge more for a product that has a lower quality year on years. A Three yr transfer ban on signing foreign players and signing players from other scottish clubs ( this will stop the better players being stolen by the of)

a wage cap directly related to a percentage of club earnings with the old firm forced at a lower level to encourage fair play.

Secondly all Spl teams to create a league consisting of their youth players with a maximum of three squad players or recovering first team players, no focus on winning the league or worrying about being relegated . Simply focusing on development of a passing flowing football style.

Bring back the three foreigner rule. That way we have to focus on good young Scottish players and the johnny foreigners have go be of a better standard because you can only have three of them.

In sure there could be lots more good ideas to be put forward

A wage cap can only work if it's enforced by FIFA and Uefa at a world wide level. If it isn't a player will just move to the country where it isn't enforced.

legally perhaps your correct, but its about choice. If you choose to have three then three it is. Prices are well to high, were deep in possibly a double dip recession how the fudge do they expect your average fan to afford the amounts needed. Only football and perhaps scotrail charge more each year for a stedaly worsening product

If they have it is unofficial if a plumber or mechanic can
ply his trade throughout the EU then so to can a
footballer, that is the law.

EU employment law differs from country to country for non-EU's...that's why Belgium, Holland, Switzerland etc...sign so many players from other continents.
