Legally we cannot have a three foreigner rule, this has
been exhausted, Uefa actually favour a four foreigner
rule but the cannot implement it.
Dropping prices yes but only for selected games the clubs have overheads and cannot do this on an ongoing basis as most are skint.
Improve our standards and play - Summer Football.

"I Shot"

After yesterday I clicked on your article for a laugh! What a disappointment. A serious, interesting and probably correct assessment of what needs to happen. But where's the humour?

A wage cap can only work if it's enforced by FIFA and Uefa at a world wide level. If it isn't a player will just move to the country where it isn't enforced.

legally perhaps your correct, but its about choice. If you choose to have three then three it is. Prices are well to high, were deep in possibly a double dip recession how the fudge do they expect your average fan to afford the amounts needed. Only football and perhaps scotrail charge more each year for a stedaly worsening product

Don't Italy have a foreigners rule???

If they have it is unofficial if a plumber or mechanic can
ply his trade throughout the EU then so to can a
footballer, that is the law.

Suppose a voluntary cap on foreigners might work?

EU employment law differs from country to country for non-EU's...that's why Belgium, Holland, Switzerland etc...sign so many players from other continents.
