or is our Tim a bit better than some of us gave him credit for?
Goodness knows what the score would be if he got his coaching badges and was qualified!! Does anyone know if he got after getting the tin from Spurs?
Are Sunderland that bad

Bit like harry as ace says....great at lifting the sinking ship...but it will wear thin.

Sunderland are quite terrible tbh. They've got two ageing cb's and I can't for the life of me think when the last time one of their strikers scored. Also they'd meet a team looking to prove a point and two strikers looking to do the same!

Sunderland aren't that bad. They are a lower end club, but they certainly aren't cut adrift at the bottom. They aren't even bottom three.... yet. They can certainly have an off day or two though, and yesterday was certainly one
By the same token, Sherwood isn't the bozo some Spurs fans seem to wish he is. He clearly has something about him, in the short term at least. Long term we don't know as he has never had the luxury of time for implementation of his methods, or his own players - those luxuries afoorded to popular coaches.
Very good day for Sherwood, but a very bad day for Sunderland. 4-0 away at any team isn't to be sniffed at though.

Congrats to Tim for winning his first 3 consecutive games in a row in all comps as well. Never managed that when he was with us.
