6 wins in a row and we are still only 1 point ahead of united. Before yesterdays game at Anfield most liverpool fans were happy with a point at the emirates but by failing to even get a point yesterday, their hand has been forced and they will come to the Emirates looking for all 3 points.
I put up an article some weeks back intimating that united might just force results despite their fixture list but I never expected them to play aswell as they are now.

If you observe the way in which united dismantled Spurs and Liverpool in the first half of each game, it puts into context the value of our win at Old Trafford and Monaco in midweek.
I was surprised to hear some people moan about the 2nd half against Newcastle when you consider we had a european game in which we had to deal with the disappointment of losing the tie.
Fingers crossed Skrtel misses the game at the Emirates as he is the type of CB that can bully Giroud out of the game. Looks like Ibe might be available and he is way better than Sterling at wing back so hopefully Gibbs will be available to start the game.
I actually felt Gerrad should have started the game yesterday as I felt that once united close of the area in front of Coutinho,Lallana and Sturridge, liverpools young players are not yet intelligent enough to find ways around that. Their build up play is as impressive as Spurs but when they get to the final third like Spurs they are very naive and make the wrong choices. Most of their crucial goals in the big games have come from outside the 18 yard box(City, Southampton)
Gerrard with the ball over the top would have allowed them to run at the united defense. He will be a big miss for the game at the Emirates aswell.
If we win thats them 9 points behind us and Im afraid they will do well to even finish ahead of Spurs.
I also want revenge for the 5-1 humping we got last season but the fact that they will come for the win makes it a bit interesting now. They are a better team away from home so it could go either way.
Still quietly confident we will do them.
Liverpool game now a 6 pointer

Henderson is quite good at making an impact in recent times. He seems to have a great shot on him like Coutinho. Anyway Liverpool battered Arsenal at Anfield but then again they did against us at OT to. I reckon Arsenal will do well to draw and lets not forget its an early kick off first game back after international break, remember that 5-1. If Liverpool do win they would be in a good position to finish in top 4. Thats why I hope its a draw so we can leapfrog Arsenal and gain on Liverpool providing we beat Villa.

Best thing for us (United) is you beating them. It'd be nice if you absolutely battered them with Danny getting a hat trick, but I'd take a scrappy win for Arsenal.
........
A draw is best. Keeps Southampton Tottenham in top 4 race and Man utd if they beat Villa could leapfrog Arsenal.

we'll do well to draw
We are at home Hafi, how can you say we'll do well to draw against a Pool team that's 6pts behind us

Liverpool last goal they conceded in the league away from home was at Old Trafford when RVP made it 3-0. So you will have to score to beat them.

We last failed to score against Southampton 21 games ago. And we have probably scored first in all games except monaco at home.

I hope you do score, we can't have them breaking there club record and if its a good 2-2 score draw it would be great. So many ifs then.
