So once more into the dark abyss that is.....no....done that.....
So, once more into the beautiful, teasing, flirtatious, infuriating paradox that is Derby County.....
We start with the stunning news that Connor Sammon IS back.......they'll be dancing in the streets of the Hebrides (Sorry, Ang, nicked your line)....will he start? will he play a meaningful role to the conclusion of our season? Should we have had him when poor old Jonny was being battered playing the lone striker role?
No.
Huddersfield go into this game having not lost in four at home. Indeed the last time Derby beat Huddersfield on their own turf was Boxing Day 1995 Remember they beat Ipswich in their last game - Ipswich who sit one point behind Derby......
Derby go into this game, resigned to play-offs (maybe) - where oh where did it all go wrong? and could it still go wronger????
Not sure if I'll be at the John Smiths/McAlpine/Galpharm for the game but in anticipation I graciously ask Mojaca if he do his team news thing.........
Huddersfield Town 4 - 4 Derby County

Derby don't owe NLN anything. Loyality Clough wasn't loyal to Derby he just knew he wouldn't get better job. He wasn't once linked with a vacant mangers job while at Derby. He played boring football and it got to the point were people had enough of watching it, and when it didn't go right it was never his fault always the ref's. I for 1 was glad when he went and delighted when the club appointed McClaren. I spoke to Sam Rush just before the Millwall home game the last game of the season in 2013 and he asked me what I thought of clough. I told him he spends too much time moaning at the refs than concentrating on the team, players with potential weren't developing and he couldn't attract better players to the club.

it would be a massive backward step if clough came back.

A game you should win.
A game you need to win.
A game you want to win.
But a game you wont win.
I've got good feelings this year Derby will miss out on Play-offs on the last day.
4 for 2 places: Derby, Brentford, Ipswich, Wolves.
Only two will make it. Which Two?
Brentford/Wolves

Whitbread hamstring (again), Hughes - groin, Martin, hamstring, but not serious, don't know about Bryson.
We've not been very fortunate with injuries this season. Isn't that down to the training methods.?
Don't see Bournemouth / Boro / Norwich / Watford etc with 4 of their best players out with injuries.

Ooh, good, that old one. If injuries come it must be "training methods". Martin, Bryson, etc, fared pretty well last season with injuries, I doubt if the methods have altered significantly this season. Maybe we need a new conspiracy thread.
