I nicked it off another bloke, anyway
Afternoon Ang - I'm just waiting for the bell to go......
Wasn't the quote from Bill McLaren regarding (in the pre-professional rugby days) of a player from some obscure Scottish town?
Nice to be back online after 4 days of abstinence.
Just my luck - missed the 'conspiracy thread' !
You've been off-line for FOUR days?????
Was that the bell.....???
Glasgow ?
No, I think it was Hawick....
It was originally just "dancing in the streets" but applied since to Hawick, Jedburgh and Hawick
Anyway, having supported the Fish in the face of some occasionally harsh comments delighted that he is back to play a pivotal role in our hour of need

Only one Hawick, other was Melrose
Yes Ang you missed the conspiracy thread, you must be absolutely gutted! Irritating beyond belief, yet strangely entertaining at the same time. Interesting paradox.
The fish is back, maybe I should change my prediction, Derby scoring 2 suddenly seems a bit far fetched...
Dare I say, I found it illuminating, Wickers...
Who is going tomorrow? Will be strange to be setting off to a football match in the afternoon. Do you reckon this 3PM on a saturday will ever catch on.

Nooooooooooo!!!! you know he's watching!!
Spart - just got a ticket but unfortunately middle-born is working and I will be Billy no-mates on my trek up the M1
1-0 up Scouse but still 0-0 on Rams Player
I'm hereπ
Just sorting out how to use the postal vote for the upcoming election as I've booked to go to Rome without considering how I will cast my vote.
Spart can you give the Rams a proxy cheer for me.π
View, as the sole Rams fan in the whole of Thorne I am always Billy no mates setting off for the match. There are quite a few Rams fans in the Donny area though.
Thorne was once inhabited by Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age people

Is that why he is always injured?
Thorne Memorial Park is the location for the Thorne Memorial Park Miniature Railway and the annual Thorne Festival. During the summer months, free brass band concerts are held at the park's bandstand.
Correct and it is about 100 metres from my house. Not seen many brass band concerts there fortunately. I don't find listening to farting noises all that entertaining.
