Some interesting pickings to be had for Championship clubs perhaps from QPR's scrap heap.
I would imagine the likes of Barton & Ferdinand will have MLS suitors. However Im sure either could do s job for us next term. Issues are:
Bartons attitude - I doubt Kenny would let him share a dressing room with our shiny happy band of young hopefuls. But do we need a bit of attitude some steel and guile to get to the next stage?
Ferdi would probably sit nicely, attitude seems to be right these days, could probably meet the demands of a season or two at this level and his experience would be priceless. Doubt we could match the wage demands however. And who would blame him for a chance to start afresh away from these shores after recent events.
Dunne - was coveted by many Wolves fans 3 or 4 years ago, as the answer to our defensive woes. Probably not worth a contract now given his age, but could do a job for one of the promoted clubs perhaps.
Zamora - goals per games ratio has dropped dramatically since his prolific early career, struggles to stay fit - leave him on the scrap heap.
SWP - undoubtedly talented, but just 15 games in the last 2 seasons, no idea whether that's due to attitude, fitness, or injuries. Not a good sign, stear clear.
Henry - has an option to stay, but will he? Does he think he can get another Premier League contract somewhere? Who knows, but I reckon there's a 0.00001% chance of him coming back to Wolves.

Wolves hoping to land £6m-rated Dwight Gayle
I can't see this happening in a month of Sundays

I think Mulumbu's ok. No better than that. But Bully should keep his neb out of Wolves' transfer business. If KJ wants that player, he, Jez and Thelwell should sort it. If he doesn't want that player, then Bully is adding pressure to the management team and undermining their work.

Cyp, Steve Buill was obviously asked a question about potential transfer targets, Mulumbu for one. His position at Wolves is an honorary one, and in any case should never preclude him from voicing an opinion. KJ would hear this opinion and probably dismiss it out of hand, no pressure at all.

Disagree, Aries. Bully is a representative of Wolves' albeit in an honorary capacity. When asked he could have given a diplomatic reply such as "I think that Mulumbu is a good player, however KJ and Thelwell should decide whether he is the right player for Wolves" or alternatively "no comment".
To say that "Wolves should move for Mulumbu" undermines the recruitment policy and procedures whether or not he is in Jackett's plans.

Rio Ferdinand has now retired. Unfortunately Oldgoldilox cannot sign this player for us. Chin up.

I imagine Ferdinands mind is far removed from football currently, and who can blame him.

It's not actually, he was part of the BT Sport commentary team today
